Find Bing Bang’s Buried Treasure!

Twelve emerald-studded numbers have been buried in twelve spots across the United States. The only way to find them is to solve the mystery of  The Clock Without a Face.

For their lavishly illustrated ‘whodunit’ The Clock Without A Face, the always inventive McSweeney’s Press called on New York jewelry designer Anna Sheffield to create their real-life hidden treasures. Each number from the faceless clock has been hand-hewn by Sheffield and hidden in adorned boxes throughout the United States. What’s the secret to finding these rare one-of-a-kind pieces? The house-shaped book, created by acclaimed children’s book author Mac Barnett, McSweeney’s editor Eli Horowitz and celebrated illustrators Scott Teplin and Adam Rex, offers clues hidden in the storyline and rich illustrations, giving adventure seekers a chance to find a real treasure of their own. Curiosity has caused blogs to bubble about who will be the first to unearth Sheffield’s rich rarities.

A book release and treasure hunt launch party will take place Thursday May 27th at 6pm at the Adam Baumgold Gallery. 60 East 66th Street, New York, NY 10065.
